Claudia Padilla came to MBCE while she was pursuing her degree in Environmental Engineering. Now, one year in, she manages environmental studies of many varieties and works on various designs on projects.
Prior experience includes eight years with the United States Army as a Diesel Mechanic, Field Sanitation Specialist and Vehicle Recovery Specialist. She was stationed in Darmstadt, Germany with the 440th Signal Battalion for four years; one year was a deployment to Baghdad, Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom 2005-2006. The remainder of her four years was spent with the 98th Expeditionary Signal Battalion in San Diego, California. Previous experience also includes working with a variety of non-profit organizations; including aiding veterans in training and job placement, foster youth programs and renewable energy programs.
Claudia enjoys outdoor activities, working on various artwork and music, and volunteering with the local science programs for children. She is currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering.
